Cricket Romania Constitution
CRICKET ROMANIA CONSTITUTION
(1)The main registered office of the FOUNDATION is located in Otopeni, str. I.G. Duca, nr. 36, 075100, Romania (Omnilogic Campus, B2 Building).
(2)The foundation is established for an unlimited duration. The duration of the Foundation commences on the registration date with the specific Register of Associations and Foundations.
(3)SCOPE OF THE FOUNDATION
- Development of domestic sport activities by supporting, promoting, researching, practicing cricket as a nationwide Romanian sport.
- Establishing itself as the official body and the single point of contact for all Cricket activities in Romania.
- To represent Romania in all formal relationships with cricketing bodies and other appropriate cricketing agencies outside of Romania.
- Taking care and being responsible for respecting both the rules and the spirit of cricket as defined by ICC (International Cricket Council) and MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club) in all cricket activities in Romania.
- To represent Romania in the formulation of international cricket policies and their implementation thereof within Romania.
- Setting-up the CRC’s Cricket Ground as the home of Romanian cricket as soon as possible.
- Supporting and coordinating the financing of the Romanian cricket activities.
- Defining the framework of cricketing activities/competitions in Romania.
- Initiating and managing the calendar of competitions.
- Training and managing the umpire, coaches and scorers associations as well as any other related associations as determined by ICC.
- To promote and develop the game of cricket at all levels, through partnerships or other arrangements with all cricketing bodies and other appropriate agencies within Romania.
- In particular to develop cricket and the various aspects of the game for children and under-18, including the introduction of cricket in schools and other teaching institutions in Romania.
- Initiating and developing cricket for women in Romania.
- Integrating “Consiliul Roman de Cricket” with the ICC (International Cricket Council) and any other global organizations as may be deemed appropriate.
(4)INCOME
Income of the Foundation consists of:
- contributions of the founding members;
- subscriptions from member teams as may be determined by the Councils rules.
- income related to participation to programs, projects;
- interest and dividends resulted out of placing available amounts, in accordance with the legal conditions;
- dividends of the companies established by the Foundation;
- income from direct economic activities;
- donations, sponsorships or legacies;
- resources obtained from the state or local budget;
- other income provided by the law.
The Foundation may carry out any other direct economic activities, if such have an accessory character and are connected to its main purpose.
These services may include:
- Organizing Cricket courses, in terms of recognition as a branch of sport in Romania;
- Development of specific, revenue up activities;
- Manufacturing, export-import, selling sports equipment specific to this sport, either directly or through economic units established in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance 26/2000 with subsequent modifications and additions;
- Organizing contests specialized collection of − tickets for entry, due to the promotion of materials and media advertising and other revenue of the same nature.
- all exclusive media rights related to the official cricket activities organized and managed by the CRC (as the national championships, international competitions for the national team, etc)
In order to achieve the envisaged purpose and objectives, the Foundation promotes diversified activities, that envisage:
- Participating into sports activities or competitions;
- Fitting-out of premises for carrying out the sports activity Cricket (courts, indoor nets, , special premises, etc.);
- Organizing necessary sports activities for professionals and amateurs;
- Obtaining finance from public or private sources in order to develop such sport;
- Providing financial support to young people practicing such sport both for development of Romanian youth and for professionals (scholarships or other financing means);
- Supporting the foundation of Cricket sports clubs.
- Coordination the framework of advertising for cricket in Romania
- Ensure funds own staff wages and reward in any other form of athletes and− individuals who contribute to the promotion, popularization and development of both the foundation and activity of Cricket as the sport;
- Building − construction and other real estate and securities investments needed for the exhibitions and sports development activities;
- Establish links with other similar − organizations in the country and abroad with public institutions, with producers of materials, equipment and other necessary goods sporting activity.
The activity domains of the foundation may be oriented in accordance with the existing scientific potential and with its material capacities.
(5) THE MANAGING, EXECUTIVE AND CONTROL BODIES OF THE FOUNDATION.
The managing, executive and control bodies of the Foundation are:
- The Board (up to max 11 persons – The Founding members) – Managing
- The Steering Committee (also members of the board) – Executive
- The Auditor – Control
(6) NOMINAL CONSTITUTION OF THE STEERING COMMITTEE
The Foundation is managed by the Steering Committee, in accordance with th eprovisions of the Statute and Incorporation Act. The Steering Committee is acting on behalf of the Board and is formed of 4 persons, reporting to the Board, as follows:
- The President;
- The Executive Secretary;
- The Technical Director;
- The Treasurer;
Upon incorporation of the Foundation, the Steering Committee has the following nominal constitution:
- The President of the Foundation is mr. Gabriel Marin
- The Executive Secretary is mr. Rangam Mitra
- The Technical Director (shall be appointed under decision of the President)
- The Tresurer is mr. Ion Ivascu
- Members (shall be appointed under decision of the President).
The mandate of the first Steering Committee is of 1 year and shall commence on the registration date of the Foundation with the Register of associations and Foundations.
After the first/initial mandate, all the other mandates will have a duration of 4 years.
